Physical Therapist PT Float Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team as a Float Specialist. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide physical therapy services to patients with impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate physical therapy needs according to organizational and professional guidelines.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that reflect an understanding of patients' age and situation, including discharge plans.
- Revised treatment plans based on patient progress towards stated goals.
- Ensure complete, timely, and accurate documentation in accordance with facility and practice guidelines.
- Orient, train, and mentor therapy and health care students to achieve stated performance expectations.
- Identify and act upon performance improvement opportunities to implement best practices.
- Participate in additional department, organization, or network activities as established.
- Uphold the PCC Organizational Values of Innovation, Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Preferred 3 years of experience as a licensed PT.
- Licensed (and in good standing) as a physical therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- A valid Drivers License.
- Basic skills in math and computer science.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the English language.
- Appropriate knowledge of physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques to manage the rehabilitation population.
- Effective problem-solving skills for physical therapy evaluation, interpretation, treatment planning, and execution.
- Computer proficiency required. Microsoft office applications preferred with ability to learn new software.
This is a full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek. The schedule includes two evening shifts per week. The employee will be required to travel to and from Spaulding Outpatient Center locations in Framingham, Wellesley, Brighton, and Cambridge.
