Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our Spaulding Network as a float professional. As a member of our team, you will provide physical therapy services to patients with impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' physical therapy needs and develop treatment plans in accordance with organizational and professional guidelines.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and achieve patient goals.
  • Document patient progress and revise treatment plans as needed.
  • Orient, train, and mentor therapy and health care students to achieve performance expectations.
  • Identify and implement performance improvement opportunities to ensure best practices.
  • Participate in departmental and organizational activities to achieve established objectives.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • 3 years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Licensed (and in good standing) as a physical therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • A valid Driver's License.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Basic skills in math and computer science.
  • Appropriate knowledge of physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques.

  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Initiative to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing situations.
  • Attention to detail.
