Job Summary

Eureka Multifamily Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to support the daily operations of property management. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing administrative tasks, organizing property viewings, and handling resident relations. They will also be responsible for inspecting property conditions and coordinating maintenance work to ensure the property is effectively maintained within budgeted parameters and in compliance with applicable regulations.

Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Manage property vacancies, show properties, and develop positive relationships with prospective and current tenants.
  • Oversee property maintenance and repairs, obtain bids from vendors, evaluate vendor work, manage budgets, and schedule maintenance activities.
  • Verify renter income, prepare lease agreements, and maintain related databases.
  • Collect rent payments, issue reminders, and escalate when necessary.
  • Create organizational systems for accurate record-keeping.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify and report issues to management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Knowledge of property management or real estate principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
Education, Experience & Certifications
  • At least 1 year of conventional housing property management experience.
  • Bookkeeping experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Degree in business, management, or real estate preferred.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions

The physical demands of this job require standing, bending, walking, sitting, using hands and fingers to handle tools and controls, reaching with hands and arms, climbing stairs and ladders, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, and hearing. The employee must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds individually. The employee may work indoors and outdoors and is exposed to adverse weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment may be moderate to high.
