About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Licensed Customer Service Representative to join our team at American Collectors Insurance. As a key member of our underwriting department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our existing customers, addressing their needs and concerns, and ensuring that they receive the best possible support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding customer service via phone and email
  • Maintain and utilize a working understanding of underwriting compliance guidelines
  • Address client needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Service existing customers with endorsements, payments, policy changes, and cancellations
  • Conduct risk analysis and evaluate underwriting quality of applicants
  • Meet all production goals and deadlines

What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range of $43-46k ($21-23/hr) depending on experience level
  • Overtime eligibility (not required)
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, flexible spending & health savings accounts, life insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and overtime availability
  • A weekly schedule of 40 hours, Monday to Friday, with rotating Saturday (about 1 every 4 weeks)
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Active P&C or Personal Lines insurance license in your state of residence
  • Prior experience working in a customer-facing insurance service role
  • Demonstrated success in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Positive customer and quality focus
  • Possess an upbeat and positive attitude
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Proactive in problem-solving
  • Ability to perform critical thinking and reasoning
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Reliable high-speed internet
