About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Habilitation Specialist to join our team at WellLife Network. As a Habilitation Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving their goals and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting Participants: Provide individualized support to participants in various aspects of daily living, including activities of daily living, social skills, and behavioral interventions.
  • Implementing Goals: Develop and implement personalized goals designed to maximize each participant's level of independence, as determined by the Individualized Developmental Team (IDT).
  • Monitoring Progress: Collect and document performance data to track participants' progress and make adjustments to plans as needed.
  • Serving as a Positive Role Model: Demonstrate positive behaviors and attitudes, promoting a supportive and inclusive environment for all participants.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
  • A valid New York State driver's license required for driving roles
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $40,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
