Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Habilitation Specialist Assistant to join our team at WellLife Network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the operation of the classroom and ensure a safe and stimulating environment.
  • Implement goals designed to maximize each participant's level of independence, as determined by the IDT.
  • Monitor participants' progress by collecting and documenting performance data.
  • Provide behavioral interventions when necessary, following the least restrictive OPWDD-approved techniques.
  • Participate in various appointments, including medical and psychiatric appointments, for assigned participants as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications

A valid NYS driver's license is required, and a High School Diploma/GED is necessary. Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred.
