Job Summary

Townsen Memorial Hospital is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage patient flow, ensuring timely and efficient processing of patients and visitors.
  • Update patient information in the electronic medical record system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, rescheduling as needed, and updating appointment calendars.
  • Process patient payments, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed, such as data entry, filing, and answering phones.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a medical office setting preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical software.
