Morgan Benjamin Search Group is seeking a highly skilled Ocean Export Agent to join our team. As an Ocean Export Agent, you will be responsible for managing ocean export shipments, handling carrier booking, cargo tracking, documentation, and communication with customers and service providers.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate ocean export shipments, including carrier booking and transportation.
- Prepare and process customs documentation (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading).
- Track shipments and provide status updates to customers.
- Manage customer relationships and resolve any issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, finance, operations) for efficient service.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and trade laws.
- Experience in freight forwarding or logistics preferred; ocean export experience is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Knowledge of ocean freight logistics, customs regulations, and trade laws.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with logistics software preferred.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
