Position Overview

We are seeking an Escrow Officer to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment focused on customer service and successful transactions. This role demands exceptional decision-making abilities, strong communication skills, and the capacity to multitask effectively within a team.

The Escrow Officer will oversee real estate transactions by establishing new escrow accounts, managing funds, processing closing documents, and completing settlements in accordance with established policies and procedures. This position is crucial in helping individuals achieve their dream of homeownership.


Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate real estate escrow transactions by identifying requirements.
  • Act as a neutral intermediary between involved parties, ensuring adherence to company policies while managing and mitigating risks.
  • Ensure accurate accounting and disbursement of all funds according to contractual terms and company policies.
  • Prepare regular status reports on escrow accounts for all parties involved in the transaction.
  • Examine property titles, mortgages, and trust deed documents.
  • Draft legal documents necessary for the completion of sales.
  • Finalize closings by recording and filing documents, as well as preparing and distributing final closing statements and titles.

Qualifications
  • Experience in handling escrow transactions, preferably as an escrow assistant.
  • Willingness to embrace new technologies and proprietary systems; adaptability to new workflows.
  • Commitment to customer service with a professional and positive demeanor.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with both internal teams and external clients.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to navigate resources to resolve issues.
  • A collaborative spirit, contributing to a team dedicated to exceeding customer expectations.
  • Comfort in mentoring and supporting the development of future talent in the industry.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and a quick adaptability to new software applications and technologies.
  • Valid licensing/certification as required by applicable state regulations.
