Key Responsibilities:- Lead the design and analysis of HPT airfoils using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and program requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members, influencing outcomes and driving results.
- Ensure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned hardware, consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
- Develop action plans to respond to issues and problems, and recommend approaches to meet technical and program requirements.
- Participate in technical and program reviews with internal and external customers, presenting and reviewing technical information.
- Develop specialized knowledge in your discipline, serving as a best practice and quality resource, and contributing to strategy and policy development.
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related STEM field from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 5 years prior relevant engineering experience, or an Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related STEM field from an accredited university and 7+ years prior relevant engineering experience.
- 8+ years prior relevant engineering experience, or an Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related STEM field from an accredited university and 7+ years prior relevant engineering experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal and leadership skills, and demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead programs/projects, interacting within the organization vertically and horizontally, including documentation, planning, marketing, and execution.
- Demonstrated ability to coach/mentor less experienced talent to achieve business deliverables within set timelines.
- Clear thinking and effective problem identification and solution skills, personal agility, and resilience.
This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
