AnthroMed Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to provide temporary FMLA coverage. This position involves working with students who have significant communication needs, and we want you to be a part of our supportive and dynamic team.
Position Details:- Location: Palos Heights, IL
- Grade Levels: K-5th grade functional students
- Schedule: Full-time
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to students with significant communication needs.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and classroom teachers to meet the students' speech and/or language goals.
- Assist case managers with developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
- Complete evaluations to assess speech needs and identify areas for growth.
- Collect data to measure student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Facilitate staff and community training on communication disorders.
- Master's degree in Communication Disorders
- Eligible for IDFPR license in the state of Illinois
- Eligible for a Professional Educator License (PEL) in the state of Illinois
- Preferred experience in a K-12 setting, particularly with students who have significant communication needs
