Job Title: PRN Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated PRN Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at WVU Medicine. As a PRN Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders to determine the underlying causes of their symptoms.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the specific needs of each patient.
  • Provide speech, language, and swallowing therapy to patients using a variety of techniques and strategies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with department policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure in the state of West Virginia or applicable state licensure where services will be performed.
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech Language Pathology or completion of a Clinical Fellowship within 48 months from hire.
  • Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire date.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • One year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
