Newfound Lake Inn seeks a Banquet Staff Member to join our dedicated event operations team.

We host over 30 weddings annually and require a talented individual to contribute to the success of each event.

Responsibilities
  • Set up banquet spaces according to event requirements, including tables, chairs, linens, and decorations.
  • Warmly greet guests, assist with seating arrangements, and provide exceptional customer service throughout the event.
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally, adhering to proper serving etiquette.
  • Clear tables, remove dirty dishes, and reset tables for the next course or event.
  • Maintain a clean and organized banquet area, including buffets, bars, and service stations.
  • Assist in kitchen duties such as plating, food preparation, and expediting orders.
  • Communicate effectively with the event coordinator, kitchen staff, and other banquet team members to ensure a seamless and successful event.
  • Break down the event space after the function concludes, including cleaning, organizing, and storing equipment.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, as well as company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in banquet/event service
  • Ability to follow instructions quickly and accurately
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Availability to work long days (10-hour shifts) during wedding season (Friday and Saturday evenings are essential)

Pay: $18/hr
