Experienced Banquet Staff

At Newfound Lake Inn, we're seeking a skilled Banquet Staff Member to join our event operations team. With over 30 weddings annually, we're looking for a talented individual to help us deliver exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Event Setup: Ensure the banquet room is set up to perfection, including tables, chairs, linens, and decorations, according to the event requirements.
  • Guest Experience: Greet guests, assist with seating arrangements, and provide top-notch customer service throughout the event.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally, adhering to proper serving etiquette.
  • Event Breakdown: Clear tables, remove dirty dishes, and reset tables for the next course or event.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the event coordinator, kitchen staff, and other banquet team members to ensure a seamless event.
  • Event Support: Assist in kitchen duties, such as plating, food preparation, and expediting orders.
  • Event Cleanup: Break down the event space after the function concludes, including cleaning, organizing, and storing equipment.
  • Food Safety: Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, as well as company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in banquet/event service is required.
  • Quick Learning: Ability to follow instructions quickly and accurately.
  • Teamwork: Strong teamwork skills are essential.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Availability: Ability to work long days (10-hour shifts) during wedding season (Friday and Saturday evenings a must).

Compensation: $18/hour
