Job Summary:
i3 Assembly is seeking a highly skilled Production Planner to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for analyzing and maintaining production plans to ensure timely delivery of customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Maintain Production Plans: Create and analyze production plans for assemblies and sub-assemblies, identifying material requirements and build schedules to meet customer demands.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure seamless execution of production plans.
- Identify and Mitigate Production Issues: Proactively identify and resolve production issues related to material shortages, yield, engineering changes, or order cancellations.
- Interface with Stakeholders: Communicate with internal stakeholders, including management, manufacturing, and procurement teams, to ensure accurate and timely execution of production plans.
- Ensure Data Accuracy: Verify the accuracy of bills of material, routings, and production orders for new products to support successful execution of the master production schedule.
- Assist with Warehouse Operations: Provide support to the warehouse team as needed, including issuing, maintaining, and tracking production orders.
- Produce Reports: Generate production reports as required to support business decision-making.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a business discipline or 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing materials environment.
- Skills: Proficient in ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and planning/scheduling techniques. Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to navigate the shop floor, occasional lifting/carrying of products, and prolonged standing and walking.
