Vendor Managed Inventory Specialist

Thruway Fasteners, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Vendor Managed Inventory Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our distribution branch, you will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with our key customers and ensuring seamless inventory management.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Consistently maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring that products are delivered to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers, sales teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that inventory is managed effectively and that customer needs are met.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that products meet customer specifications and are free from defects.
- Communication: Maintain open and transparent communication with customers, sales teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that inventory levels are accurate and that customer needs are met.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain coordination, or a related field.
- Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in ERP/CRM systems.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a warehouse environment.
