Job Overview

Position Summary:

The CRA Compliance Manager will oversee the comprehensive management of the Bank's adherence to the Community Reinvestment Act. This role entails the establishment, execution, and oversight of systems and controls that align with applicable state and federal banking compliance regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Development, Implementation, & Administration: Direct all facets of the Community Reinvestment Act compliance for the Bank.

Examinations & Audits: Facilitate and support the execution of independent, state, and federal CRA examinations, reviews, and audits.

Monitoring & Tracking: Conduct regular assessments and monitoring, identifying and documenting CRA-related data.

Quality Assurance: Lead and execute quality assurance reviews and monitoring of the Bank's CRA program data.

Communication & Presentation: Convey intricate information to staff, management, and regulatory bodies. Develop and present training materials, recommendations, and initiatives as needed.

Reporting & Response: Generate and compile reports as required or upon management's request. Address audits, regulatory examinations, and inquiries effectively.

Advice & Guidance: Provide counsel and support to staff, management, and other stakeholders regarding CRA compliance.

Additional Projects & Duties: Undertake ad hoc projects and other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Community Reinvestment Act requirements and regulations.
  • Three to five years of experience in overseeing CRA requirements and communicating necessary updates to rules and regulations.
  • Experience managing the CRA Compliance Examination process and engaging proactively with regulators.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and make critical decisions regarding CRA compliance with minimal oversight.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in drafting and revising policies and procedures in response to new and evolving regulatory developments.
  • Skilled in presenting complex information in a clear and relatable manner to employees, Bank management, and regulators.
  • CRCM Certification is preferred but not mandatory.
