We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aquatics Manager to join our team at Plgrove. As a key member of our aquatics division, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our pools, ensuring the safety and well-being of our patrons, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Pool Operations: Oversee the maintenance of our pools, including water chemistry, cleanliness, and related maintenance, to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Staff Supervision: Assist in the recruitment, training, scheduling, certification, and performance of employees, including lifeguards and swim instructors.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our patrons, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Event Planning: Assist in the planning and execution of special events and activities, such as swim meets and aquatic programs.
- Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare and track statistical and chemical control reports on a daily basis, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., aquatics, recreation, or business) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a pool or aquatic setting, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
This position requires the ability to work in a variety of settings, including indoor and outdoor environments, and to lift, carry, and manage equipment and supplies. The successful candidate must be able to commit to full-time, seasonal work (mid-April to mid-September) and be available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
