About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diabetes Services Manager to join our team at Dignity Health Medical Foundation. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our diabetes and dietitian team, ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality care and education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clinic staff, specialty division heads, and medical staff to develop and implement programs and processes to provide patient care around diabetes and dietary management.
  • Lead and grow the division to improve access to preventative services and education for patients with diabetes and other chronic conditions.
  • Develop and implement care and performance standards to ensure that patient care needs and regulatory requirements are met and exceeded.
  • Provide leadership and participate in the development of evidence-based interdisciplinary practice and patient care models.
  • Serve as the regulatory liaison for program certifications.
Requirements
  • 3 years of leadership experience in a comparable role in the healthcare industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing field (BSN).
  • Clear and current CA Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Current Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES).
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment handling multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Registered Dietitian (RD).
