Job Overview

MILVETS Systems Technology, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Information Technology Project Manager to lead our IT projects. As a Journeyman IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, initiating, and managing IT projects, leading and guiding technical staff, and serving as a liaison between business and technical aspects of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage IT projects from initiation to completion.
  • Lead and guide technical staff to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliverables.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and customers.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards and are delivered on time.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure project success.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of six (6) years of experience in IT project management, with three (3) years of supervisory experience.
  • Bachelor's or associate degree in a related field or IT certification.
  • DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification IAT Level II (e.g., CompTIA Sec+).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other project management certification desired.
  • Active United States Department of Defense Secret clearance.
