Position Summary: We are currently in search of a full-time Cybersecurity Information Systems Officer (ISSO) Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a minimum of six (6) years of experience in information security and information assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the IT Information System Security Officer for ALC ISD managed information systems.
  • Conduct security controls audits to validate security measures and Risk Management Framework inputs for all ISD managed systems.
  • Develop and evaluate IT security policies, considering business impacts.
  • Create security plans for implementing enterprise-wide security architecture, including cryptographic solution designs.
  • Establish integrated security services management.
  • Facilitate security awareness training for personnel.
  • Perform assessments and audits related to network penetration testing, anti-virus planning, risk analysis, and incident response.
  • Provide security engineering support for application development, including system security certifications and project evaluations.
  • Engage in the development, design, and implementation of firewalls, along with the evaluation and testing of security code.
  • Possess experience with various architectures and platforms in an integrated environment.
  • Demonstrate significant knowledge in the field and the ability to work independently on standard assignments.
  • Have experience with information security assurance policies, standards, or regulations.

Experience Required: A minimum of six (6) years in information security and information assurance.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a related field or, at a minimum, an Information Technology (IT) Certification.

Certifications: Must possess a DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification IAT Level II or III (e.g., CompTIA Security+).

Clearance Requirements: Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an Active United States Department of Defense Secret clearance is mandatory.
