Low Voltage Systems Specialist

The Service Inspection Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of low voltage systems, including fire alarm, access control, CCTV, nurse call, and security systems. This position requires a strong ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers, both internal and external, and to provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance on low voltage systems.
• Thoroughly and accurately complete associated documentation for all inspections.
• Troubleshoot systems to determine source of problem and recommend solution(s).
• Completion and transmittal of assigned work orders to office on daily basis.
• Attend all scheduled in office technician meetings.
• Participate in on-call Service rotation at regularly scheduled intervals.
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of industry experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and parts manuals to diagnose/troubleshoot and repair minor issues.
• Experience with hand tools and multi-meter usage.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to regularly carry and climb a 6' or taller ladder.
• Ability to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to use ladders and lifts to include work in unusual and sometimes difficult locations.
• Possess a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company requirements.
