Salary Range: $18 to $20 hour
Reports to: Site Supervisor
JOB OVERVIEW
Summary/Objective
We are seeking a dedicated individual who is enthusiastic about professional development within our organization. The Parking Lot Maintenance Technician will handle various equipment utilized in the upkeep and marking of parking areas and large-scale projects. This role is available as a Seasonal Full-Time or Part-Time position, with significant potential for overtime during peak seasons. Flexibility in scheduling is required, with availability for evening and weekend shifts. Candidates should possess a collaborative spirit, meticulous attention to detail, and a positive demeanor. A clean driving record is preferred, and references will be requested.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate various sizes and weights of equipment used in parking lot maintenance.
- Assist in the preparation of equipment and vehicles.
- Help manage inventory, including paint and other materials.
- Adhere to company and OSHA safety protocols, reporting issues to the site supervisor.
- Follow established procedures and protocols as outlined in training sessions.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment, reporting any defects or necessary repairs to the Site Supervisor; ensure equipment cleanliness.
- Maintain stencils as required.
- While on-site, fill machines, assist with stencil work, clean parking areas as needed, and support the Site Supervisor with layout tasks.

Work Environment
This position involves frequent exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and moving mechanical parts. The employee will work outdoors, subject to varying weather conditions.
Physical Requirements
The physical demands of this role include regular communication and active engagement. The position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the workday. Employees must frequently lift or move items weighing up to 60 pounds and push or move items up to 350 pounds. Specific vision capabilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This role can be full-time or part-time based on operational needs and seasonal demands. Typical working hours may include evenings and weekends, with the potential for overtime during peak periods. Opportunities for advancement and increased compensation are available.
Travel Requirements
Local travel is expected, and a vehicle will be provided for work-related tasks.
Education and Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver's license.
