Job Title: Respiratory Therapist - Travel Position

Uniti Med is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Respiratory Therapist with Uniti Med, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and develop your skills in a supportive and collaborative team setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of respiratory conditions, including COPD, pneumonia, and asthma.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Conduct patient assessments, including vital sign monitoring and oxygen therapy.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Michigan.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work 36 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
