Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Shift Manager to join our team at County Market. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the store, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of associates to achieve sales and profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Store Management in maintaining Genuine Customer Care and ensuring maximum sales and profitability through merchandising, inventory, expense control, human resources management, and managing operating costs and shrinkage.
  • Deliver superior guest service and ensure absolute customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in managing total store operating, including front end, perishable department, frozen/dairy, grocery displays, and backroom.
  • Ensure the store is well-stocked, visually appealing, and meets company standards.
  • Assist in handling associate and customer issues, and follow all store and department policies and procedures.
  • Enforce safety policies and procedures, and serve as a safety role model.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
  • One to three months related experience and/or training;
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • First Aid certification;
  • CPR certification;
  • Power Industrial Truck Certification.
Work Environment

The Shift Manager will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with regular exposure to outside weather conditions, risk of electrical shock, and work near moving mechanical parts.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have a strong commitment to customer service and store operations.
