Job Summary

As a Pediatric Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients with a range of physical therapy needs. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initial Evaluations and Treatment Planning
    • Conduct thorough initial evaluations to identify patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
    • Select and perform standardized evaluations to assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Treatment Implementation and Management
    • Implement and manage comprehensive treatment plans, incorporating a range of physical therapy techniques and modalities.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and high-quality care.
  • Patient Education and Family Support
    • Provide education and training to patients and families on physical therapy techniques, progress, and long-term outcomes.
    • Complete documentation and patient education records in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Departmental Responsibilities
    • Participate in staff meetings, team meetings, and mandatory in-services to stay up-to-date on departmental policies and procedures.
    • Assist with care and maintenance of departmental equipment and supplies.
  • Supervision and Mentorship
    • Provide supervision and mentorship to Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Aides.
    • Exercise sound judgment in delegating tasks and providing feedback on performance.
  • Productivity and Annual Goals
    • Meet departmental productivity standards and comply with established scheduling protocols.
    • Establish and achieve annual goals related to departmental initiatives and corporate objectives.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • SC PT Licensure from the Board of PT Examiners.
