Medical Scribe

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our team at Northwell Health | GoHealth Urgent Care. As a Medical Scribe, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare providers by accurately documenting patient information and medical records.
Responsibilities:- Transcribe medical charting for Providers
- Assist in fundamental clinical care, including Point of Care (POC) testing, intake of vitals, and other procedures
- Assist in coordinating patient triage and overall workflow
- Maintain medical records, lab results, and imaging reports in accurate manner in EHR
- Manage faxing and referral process
- Previous use of EMR, Medical Terminology, Type 60+ words per minute
- EMT or Med School Students Preferred But Not Required
- High School Diploma required
- Medical Scribe experience preferred
- Medical Assistant experience preferred
- Experience in an Urgent Care environment preferred

The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered for this position at the time of this job ad and may be modified in the future.
When determining a team member's base salary and/or hourly rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, budgets, and internal equity)
We offer a quarterly target bonus of up to 5% based on customer satisfaction scores and up to $450 per month for a productivity bonus if certain center metrics are met.
