About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technician to join our clinical team at DispatchHealth. As a Medical Technician, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work under the supervision of licensed Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants to provide patient care and support.
  • Conduct patient assessments and monitoring, including vital signs.
  • Perform IV starts and blood draws, as permitted by state law.
  • Apply splints and provide wound care.
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain point-of-care laboratory equipment.
  • Perform EKGs and assist with patient documentation.
  • Assist with the daily functions of a mobile care delivery emergency unit.
  • Supply and stock vehicles before and after shifts.
Requirements
  • Medical Technician certification.
  • Basic certification with WA, EMT License (hiring credential only).
  • MA-C or MA-P certification.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • BLS, American Heart Association certification.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs easily.
