About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Shape Technologies Group. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a critical role in the production of our ultra-high pressure water jet parts and pumps.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use hydraulic and arbor press to process parts
  • Operate lapping machine
  • Perform light machining
  • Hand lap parts
  • Thread high-pressure tubing
  • Bend high-pressure tubing to meet job prints and specifications
  • Complete small assemblies as directed
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent experience and training (GED)
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience with manufacturing assembly techniques
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
  • Ability to work independently on projects, function effectively in a team environment
  • Possess a basic level of analytical and mechanical skills
  • Good hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex work environment
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to perform repetitive work
