WHAT WE SEEK

Position Overview:

Oversees, organizes, and executes the Social Services Program while providing direction on relevant policies and procedures. Manages and coordinates social services activities within the organization.

Creates an environment that fosters residents' physical, mental, and emotional well-being, enhancing their overall quality of life.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensuring the quality and effectiveness of social services across company campuses to meet resident needs.
  • Leading the planning, development, implementation, and training of social services staff to ensure outstanding customer service and resident engagement.
  • Advising management on the creation of processes, policies, and procedures that promote efficient operations.
  • Staying informed on guidelines from the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and any changes in social services regulations in healthcare.
  • Establishing and communicating the vision and objectives for the social services department across all campuses, focusing on quality assurance and staff development.
  • Guiding the social services team in service evaluation by reviewing documentation and service delivery to comply with federal and state standards.
  • Developing new initiatives and training programs to educate staff and enhance service delivery.
  • Acting as a consultant for any survey results that necessitate corrective action or further investigation.
  • Conducting audits and documenting social service performance against established benchmarks, including mock surveys.
  • Performing additional duties as required.

Licensure and Certification:

Must fulfill state requirements and regulatory standards for licensure and certification.
