Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Beverage Expert to join our team at James Coffee Co. as a Barista. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and healthy work environment, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve beverages, including coffee, tea, and other specialty drinks
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the cafe, bar areas, and patios
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to questions and concerns in a friendly and knowledgeable manner
- Assist in the training and development of new employees
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Current state-issued Food Handler Card
- Retail and/or customer service experience required
- Experience in beverage preparation or customer service preferred
- Coffee experience preferred
- Training and willingness to learn about coffee and beverages
- Hospitable and inclusive with all customers and co-workers
- Demonstrating a passion for coffee and tea
