Automotive Parts Manager

Join Greenway Automotive Group, one of the world's most progressive automotive companies, as an Assistant Parts Manager. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to manage purchasing, inventory control, pricing, merchandising, and advertising for our Parts department.
Responsibilities:- Oversee daily operations of the Parts department and lead a team of professionals to deliver exceptional value to customers.
- Locate accessories or parts and arrange for installation, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Monitor parts inventory and maintain storage areas in good condition, adhering to safety and customer service standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all vehicles, accessories, and promotions, providing expert advice to customers.
- Maintain accurate sales documentation and ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and company policies.
- Motivate and develop staff through coaching, mentoring, and training, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure stated goals are met, and customer satisfaction is guaranteed in all areas.
- Provide timely and accurate reports as required, supporting business growth and decision-making.
- High school diploma or GED required; some post-high school education or training preferred.
- CDK experience preferred, as well as previous dealership experience.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
- Strong analytical skills, purchasing experience, common sense, and problem-solving ability to improve the purchasing and inventory process.
- Leadership skills of certainty, diplomacy, tact, humility, and calm under pressure, with the ability to manage a process and people with different work styles.
- Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
