Job Title: Master Automotive Technician

Job Summary:

The Master Automotive Technician will act as a consultant for diagnostic work, vehicle repairs, and procedures. This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule, offering immediate opportunities to grow your income.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
  • Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repairs.
  • Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts and save and tag parts of the job if under warranty or requested by the customer.
  • Examine assigned vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
  • Communicate with the service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
  • Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
  • Road test vehicles when required or refer to the test technician.
  • Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs and events.
  • Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience as an automotive technician.
  • Knowledgeable in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
  • Fast learner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Team player.
  • Computer literate.
  • Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • Have a valid driver's license.
  • Able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
  • Have a high school diploma.
