Responsibilities and Qualifications

We are looking for a skilled Ultrasound Technician who specializes in providing exceptional care to ensure that all patients receive top-notch, efficient services. Our collaborative team values mutual support and is eager to welcome a dedicated professional who shares our commitment to patient care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Utilizing fetal ultrasound techniques to assess fetal anomalies.
  • Implementing gynecological ultrasound methods for patient evaluations.
  • Adapting to various ultrasound equipment while upholding high standards of practice.
  • Identifying fetal anomalies across multiple organ systems.
  • Conducting ultrasounds on the maternal uterus, cervix, and ovaries.
  • Performing complex scans for multiple gestations.
  • Recognizing gynecological issues such as fibroids and polyps.
  • Making preliminary assessments of gynecological and fetal conditions.
  • Operating ultrasound machines with proficiency.
  • Staying updated on advancements in ultrasound technology.
  • Maintaining accurate ultrasound records, including patient medical histories.
  • Preparing patients for various procedures.
  • Fostering professional relationships with colleagues and healthcare personnel.
  • Exercising independent judgment in interpreting assessments.
  • Notifying physicians of any concerning findings.
  • Reporting and demonstrating identified anomalies to physicians.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Required qualifications include:

  • An Associate's degree in Ultrasound.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • RDMS certification is mandatory.
  • RDMS – OB/GYN certification is preferred.
