POSITION SUMMARY

The Head of Strategic Partnerships is responsible for overseeing interactions between ATC Drivetrain and its clientele, ensuring effective sales strategies, superior customer service, accurate order processing, competitive pricing, and timely delivery of component parts to both customers and tier-one suppliers. This role is pivotal in addressing customer needs and expectations by resolving business-related challenges and fostering strong customer relationships through regular engagement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Facilitating customer satisfaction initiatives to secure existing business and attract new opportunities.
  • Collaborating with accounting teams to guarantee prompt and complete payments for services rendered.
  • Working closely with Purchasing, Materials, and Accounting departments to maintain competitive pricing for assembly and component parts.
  • Conducting visits to customers and tier-one suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Addressing material and pricing claims with customers and tier-one suppliers.
  • Managing freight payment issues with customers and tier-one suppliers.
  • Coordinating engineering changes that impact pricing with Customer Engineering and Purchasing teams.
  • Assisting in managing excess and obsolete materials programs.
  • Organizing backorder meetings with customers as necessary.
  • Monitoring customer satisfaction through surveys and feedback mechanisms.
  • Maintaining high levels of customer interaction to resolve complaints and issues promptly.
  • Negotiating and sustaining long-term contracts with customers, ensuring compliance with quality system requirements.
  • Recommending improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
  • Promoting a safe and accident-free work environment.
  • Encouraging continuous improvement and excellence in all processes.
  • Fostering teamwork across all functions and creating a positive work environment.
  • Actively listening to customer concerns and taking appropriate actions.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or five years of relevant experience or training, or a combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents, and effectively communicate with various stakeholders.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Proficiency in applying mathematical concepts to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY

Capability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions.
