About the Position: CWD-Community Waste Disposal is seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team in Dallas, TX. This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience in heavy equipment repair and mechanical knowledge. A background check and drug test are required for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment, including diesel engines and transmissions
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with equipment
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in heavy equipment repair and mechanical knowledge
  • ASE or other mechanic certifications a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills
