Job Overview

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator and Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves operating heavy equipment, performing light maintenance tasks, and assisting diesel technicians in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently, with a focus on precision and productivity.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal performance of equipment, including inspections, repairs, and replacements.
  • Assist diesel technicians with various tasks, providing support and contributing to the success of the team.
  • Conduct pre-shift inspections to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines.
Essential Skills
  • Proven experience operating heavy equipment, such as front-end loaders.
  • CDL Driver's license for transporting equipment and materials.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform maintenance and inspection tasks.
  • Proficiency with hand tools and mechanical equipment assembly.
  • Ability to read and understand schematics and technical documentation.

Work Environment

Shift Schedule

The shift schedule is from 3am to 12:30pm, with potential for overtime. We offer a stable job with opportunities for overtime and department transfers.
