Job Overview

The American Association of Critical Care Nurses seeks a highly skilled Strategic Communications Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Marketing and Communications department, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategic communications plans that drive engagement and support the association's mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive communications strategies that align with the association's goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and disseminate engaging content across multiple channels, including social media, email, and print.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform communications strategies and ensure alignment with industry best practices.
  • Manage and maintain the association's brand voice and tone across all communications channels.
  • Develop and implement metrics to measure the effectiveness of communications strategies and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing communications, with a focus on strategy development and execution.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communications campaigns that drive engagement and support business objectives.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with social media management and analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Ability to create engaging visual content, including graphics and videos.
