We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Gundersen Health System. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality radiographic exams and procedures to aid in medical diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.
- Work with patients and families to provide compassionate, individualized care in the provision of radiology services.
- Demonstrate accurate knowledge of established protocols and equipment operation when performing exams on patients.
- Provide high-quality service to customers in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
- Assume responsibility for providing a quality learning environment for patients, their families, students, and co-workers.
- Attend staff meetings, inservices, and continuing education as required by the department.
- Perform other job-related responsibilities as listed on the competency checklist and as requested by others.
- Post-high school education in a specialized field: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- 6 months of clinical experience in a radiology program.
- Desired: 1 year of experience working in a large hospital radiology setting.
- Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers certification.
