About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Gundersen Health System. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality radiographic exams and procedures to aid in medical diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide compassionate, individualized care in the provision of radiology services.
  • Apply accurate knowledge of established protocols and equipment operation when performing exams on patients, ensuring the best possible images for radiologists and providers.
  • Provide high-quality service to customers in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
  • Assume responsibility for providing a quality learning environment for patients, families, students, and co-workers.
  • Attend staff meetings, inservices, and continuing education as required by the department.
  • Perform other job-related responsibilities as listed on the competency checklist and as requested by others.
Requirements
  • Post-high school education in a specialized field: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • 6 months of clinical experience in a radiology program.
  • Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers certification.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technology Registered Technologist-Radiography (ARRT) certification.
  • Licensed Radiographer with the State of Wisconsin (LICRAD-WI) or Permit to Practice from the Iowa Department of Public Health (RADTECH-IA).
Work Environment

This is a casual, on-call position with a focus on providing high-quality radiographic exams and procedures. You will be exposed to infectious diseases and must adhere to regular and predictable attendance.
