Dietary Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Dietary Aide to join our team at Blue Ridge Senior Living. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by assisting with meal preparation and service.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with food preparation, including cooking, baking, and plating
- Set up and maintain the dining room, including tables, chairs, and linens
- Prepare and serve meals to residents in a timely and efficient manner
- Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Report any issues or concerns to the Dietary Manager
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a food service or healthcare setting preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
The Dietary Aide will work in a kitchen environment with moderate noise levels and exposure to heat, cold, and humidity. The position requires standing for long periods, lifting, and bending.
