Summary:
The Houseman is tasked with the upkeep of communal and exterior spaces of the establishment, ensuring that the property is visually appealing and well-maintained.

Pay Scale:
$15.00 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain cleanliness in the lobby and pool restrooms.
  • Restock restrooms with necessary supplies as required.
  • Dispose of all waste in offices, front desk areas, entrances, pool, and outdoor urns.
  • Collect all litter and discarded items from parking lots and sidewalks.
  • Ensure the dumpster area is tidy and securely closed.
  • Mop all public area tiles and hard surfaces.
  • Clean and replenish the business center with essential office supplies.
  • Vacuum hallways post 10:00 am.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the pool area and all related furniture, including windowsills, towel hampers, and sweeping/mopping.
  • Dust and clean the vending area, ensuring machines are wiped down and floors vacuumed.
  • Verify the availability of pool towels for guests before concluding the shift.

Ensures the work area is free from debris to prevent slip and trip hazards. All products and equipment are stored appropriately. Safety guards and devices are in their proper locations, functional, and consistently utilized.

Adheres to standard operating procedures, safety regulations, and good general practices daily.

Possesses the ability to convey information clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing. This includes understanding instructions promptly and discerning what information is pertinent to communicate, how, to whom, and when.

Problem Solving:
  • Identifies and resolves issues promptly; develops alternative solutions; applies reason even in emotionally charged situations.

  • Interacts with others tactfully; maintains composure under pressure.

Time Management:
  • Prioritizes tasks effectively; utilizes time efficiently; plans for additional resources; sets achievable goals and objectives; formulates realistic action plans.

Experience and Requirements:
High School Diploma (or equivalent) preferred.
Valid Driver's License is mandatory.
