Job Title: Pharmacist-in-Charge

This position is responsible for dispensing prescription drugs to patients in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pharmacy operations and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dispense prescription medication to patients
  • Provide information about medications and help patients understand the instructions their doctors provide
  • Monitor the health and progress of patients in response to drug therapy
  • Work well in a team environment and portray the company in a positive image
Requirements:
  • Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college
  • Valid pharmacist license which must be in good standing with the state pharmacy board
  • Ability to communicate well with patients and staff
  • Thirty hours of continuing education every two years
