About the Role

The Pharmacy Operations Manager will be a full-time, benefits-eligible position leading and supporting the pharmacy operational initiatives determined through collaboration with the Regional Pharmacy Manager and Pharmacy Management team. The Pharmacy Operations Manager will work with facility and PharmD on Demand administration on planning, organizing, identifying processes for improvements, and maintaining pharmacy operations and ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations through onsite and virtual operations at assigned facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide oversight, guidance, support, and leadership to the pharmacy staff, including Directors of Pharmacy, Staff Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, and other support staff within their assigned region.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve pharmacy performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address operational challenges and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including facility administrators and PharmD on Demand leadership.
Requirements
  • Excellent time management and the ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Detail-oriented, organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • A self-starting, independent work ethic.
  • Ability to understand and work with complex processes.
  • Ability to work with technology and learn new systems and processes.
  • Great interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication.
  • Experience with G-suite and MS Office Suite (preferred).
  • Experience in healthcare is beneficial, but not required. Complete operational training will be provided.
Work Environment
  • Full-time salaried position - average of 40 hours per week (primarily weekdays, but occasional emergency weekend work may be required).
  • Eligible for full benefits package (insurance options, 401(k) with matching, PTO, etc.).
  • Regular travel within the state of Georgia is required (limited overnight travel).
  • Some remote work will be available, but regular onsite presence at facilities (across Georgia in your radius) is required.
  • The job will require 75% travel and 25% office days.
