Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Area Committee Officer to join our team at Aberdeenshire Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Area Manager in dealing with communities and enquiries, handling complaints, attending meetings, undertaking research, report writing, and providing training sessions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Area Manager in community engagement and outreach activities
- Handle customer complaints and enquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Attend meetings and take minutes as required
- Conduct research and provide reports to support decision-making
- Develop and deliver training sessions to staff and stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
