The OpportunityWe are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Clinical Lead Nurse (LPN or RN) to support our Prompt Care location. Our practice is in a state-of-the-art facility located at 10 Members Way in Dover, NH 03820.
As a Clinical Lead Nurse, you will be responsible for coordinating provider schedules and patient appointments, maintaining clinical supplies and equipment, and directing the day-to-day functions of clinical staff.
You will also be responsible for identifying and resolving work-related problems, developing short and long-term plans to address clinical staff issues, and assisting providers and clinical staff with clinical issues and patient care.
Responsibilities- Acts as a liaison between clinical staff and practice manager/providers to ensure successful clinical operation.
- Maintains clinical supplies and equipment, including ordering medical supplies.
- Coordinates provider schedules and patient appointments, including training clinical staff on practice management software.
- Directs the day-to-day functions of clinical staff, including planning, developing, and organizing clinical operations.
- Identifies and resolves work-related problems, develops short and long-term plans to address clinical staff issues.
- Assists providers and clinical staff with clinical issues, coordinates patient tests, and ensures compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Establishes and maintains good communication and positive working relationships with providers, staff members, patients, visitors, and other internal and external customers.
- Assists the Practice Manager in interviewing and selecting clinical candidates for employment, orients and trains new clinical employees, and ensures preceptor coverage in the Clinical Lead's absence.
- Directs, schedules, and assigns work to clinical staff, assists with preparation and conducting formal/informal performance evaluations, and recommends merit increases.
- Leads, plans, attends, and actively participates in clinical meetings, provider meetings, and hospital-wide committees or meetings as requested.
- Assists Practice Managers in reviewing Press-Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey results on a quarterly basis and makes recommendations to improve clinical outcomes for selected patient populations.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
3-5 years of medical office experience required. Experience as a clinical leader, previous clinical coordinator role, or equivalent, preferably primary care with pediatric experience strongly preferred.
Active RN or LPN licensure in the state of NH and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
