Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Systems Specialist to uphold our core values while managing service calls for HVAC systems. This role involves close collaboration with our dispatch team and service management to ensure client satisfaction and effective execution of service tasks. The Specialist will be accountable for the overall success of each service call, aiming to achieve a 5-star service rating from our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional technical expertise, quality service, and integrity to our clientele.
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems for commercial clients.
- Diagnose and rectify issues with electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of HVAC systems.
- Travel to various job sites and coordinate with dispatch to maintain an efficient schedule while communicating any delays to customers.
- Be available for on-call duties during nights or weekends to address emergency service requests.
- Ensure the proper maintenance of company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
- Keep inventory of parts, tools, and safety equipment within the service vehicle.
- Document service details and parts used through electronic applications.
- Identify and report potential opportunities for additional services or contracts.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited HVAC training program or relevant certifications.
- 2-3 years of experience in HVAC service roles.
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems, including refrigeration units.
- Familiarity with HVAC control systems and their components.
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints.
- Possession of relevant HVAC certifications, such as EPA 608 Universal Certification.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varying weather conditions.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective time management skills to meet deadlines.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
