Manufacturing Equipment Specialist

Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the smooth operation of our production facilities by maintaining and repairing a wide range of manufacturing equipment, including CNC machining equipment, CNC lathes, packaging machines, automation robots, and more.
- Work in compliance with all company and site policies, as well as state and federal regulations and guidelines, including handling hazardous materials and understanding the environmental impact of your work.
- Calibrate, install, inspect, test, repair, and rebuild measuring and control devices in accordance with manufacturer specifications, and operate electronic test equipment effectively.
- Utilize prints, P & IDs, loop diagrams, and computer systems to troubleshoot instrument system malfunctions and make vital repairs or corrections.
- Repair, replace, and install equipment in an explosion-proof environment, ensuring the safety of all operations.
- Collaborate with the site leadership team and perform other duties as assigned.
- A minimum of a High School Diploma, GED, or higher is required.
- 2+ years of relevant work experience is required in equipment maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and procedures, including the National Electric Code.
- Ability to work in an ISO Class 8 Clean Room environment requiring gowning.
- Cleanroom experience is a plus.
- Troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve instrumentation problems.
- Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting are required.
- Physical ability to lift at least 50 lbs., work from heights of 30 ft., and occasionally work in confined spaces with supplied air.
- Availability and willingness to work overtime as assigned and on an emergency basis.
