Job Overview

The Assistant Store Manager at Ranch and Home Supply, LLC plays a vital role in enhancing the overall store experience while streamlining operational procedures. This position is responsible for leading cashier teams, the Retail Office Coordinator, and the receiving department, focusing on planning, goal setting, and the overall success of these areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Embrace and promote the mission, values, and principles of Ranch and Home Supply, LLC.
  • Oversee front-end operations, receiving, and back-office functions to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Foster talent development and coaching to build a strong team for future growth.
  • Manage inventory pricing and maintenance tasks effectively.
  • Work in a goal-oriented manner to ensure accountability and timely execution of tasks.
  • Exhibit strong organizational and delegation skills.
  • Engage in networking, recruitment, and development of qualified candidates.
  • Prioritize and adapt to the evolving needs of the store.
  • Formulate strategies to achieve sales objectives through analysis, planning, and effective communication.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed by all team members, particularly in backroom operations.
  • Collaborate with other management team members to enhance store performance.
  • Work closely with Operations and IT departments to ensure efficient Ecommerce order fulfillment and technology integration.

  • Three to five years of previous retail leadership experience.
  • Proficient in Windows-based computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, and motivate team members.

Physical Requirements:

  • Availability to work an average of 45-55 hours per week.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting heavy items (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
  • Comfortable with bending, carrying, and pushing items.
  • Willingness to work on a ladder.
  • Repetitive wrist movements for computer tasks.
  • Close vision required for computer work.
