Key Responsibilities- Coordinate health education and information programs, including developing and implementing education awareness campaigns.
- Collaborate with various departments to promote wellness and coordinate information and activities with community resources.
- Assist with planning and implementing staff development and orientation programs.
- Provide consultation and educational resources to department heads and program directors.
- Manage wellness initiative events and information programs.
- Monitor and evaluate staff and patient attitudes towards relevant programs and handle complaints from management.
- Prepare and manage program budgets and coordinate the purchase and use of educational materials and equipment.
- Keep records and prepare reports regarding health education, staff development, and information programs.
- Manage and edit websites and social networking sites to ensure the presentation of up-to-date information.
- Develop and produce advertising and marketing materials.
- Supervise or assist with the supervision of support staff.
- Bachelor's Degree in public, mental, and/or medical health education, social work, psychology, student personnel/affairs, nursing, education, or communications.
- Two years of experience conducting professional presentations, seminars, or closely related programs and/or providing health education.
